Who You Are

We are looking for an individual with a deep understanding of tenancy law and a proven track record of managing complex casework in a regulatory context. You are a strong leader with excellent communication and partnership skills, and you are passionate about tenants' rights. Your proactive, resident-centered, and trauma-informed approach makes you an ideal fit for this role.

What the Job Involves

The Team Manager will provide strategic leadership and expert technical expertise for a specialist team within the new Renters Rights Act legislation framework. You will oversee a team of 4 officers, manage staff and casework, and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely advice to tenants. The role involves enforcing tenancy rights, preventing unlawful evictions, and working closely with various partners and services. The aim is to enhance the council’s impact on tenancy rights and unlawful eviction prevention while leading operational improvements.
