Who You Are
The ideal candidate is a seasoned social work professional with at least 5 years of post-qualified experience. You have completed your ASYE and have spent 3 years in a permanent social worker role. Your background includes significant experience working within an Assessment Team.
You are committed to client care and are ready to contribute to a dynamic team at Sumner House. You are available to be in the office at least 3 days a week and are prepared for on-duty rotations every 5 weeks.
What the Job Involves
As a Senior Social Worker in the Assessment and Intervention Service, you will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families. Your role will include conducting home visits for direct work with children, undertaking section 47 enquiries, and performing risk assessments alongside safety planning. You will be part of an Assessment Team that participates in duty rotations every 5 weeks.
