Who You Are
You are a dedicated Senior Social Worker with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience. You have completed your ASYE, and have spent a minimum of 3 years in a permanent social worker role. You have previous experience working in an Assessment Team and bring a proven track record of executing assessments, home visits, section 47 inquiries, risk assessments, and safety planning. You are comfortable working on a rotating on-duty schedule and have the flexibility to attend the office at least 3 days per week.
What The Job Involves
As a Senior Social Worker, you will be part of our Assessment Team based at Sumner House, providing valuable contribution to our Assessment and Intervention Service. You will undertake assessments of children and their families, home visits to complete direct work with children, conduct section 47 inquiries, and perform risk assessments and safety planning. You will go on duty on a rota every 5 weeks and are expected to demonstrate your commitment to the role through regular attendance in the office.
