What the job involves
The role involves acting as the lead advisor on all commercial and investment property and asset management issues for council-owned land and buildings. You will ensure that the property portfolio is utilised to maximise rental income, capital receipts, and optimised use. You will lead on corporate initiatives, provide outstanding leadership, and drive service transformation. The role requires managing projects, commissioning external consultants, and providing strategic advice on regeneration projects. Additionally, you will develop and deliver strategies, maintain an asset management strategy, and act as the professional interface with landowners and other parties.
