What the job involves
Reporting to the Environmental Services and Transport Manager, you will deliver high-quality bulk and void property clearance services while maintaining a safe and secure environment. This involves driving to estates, collecting non-domestic refuse, attending to void properties, maintaining neat collection practices, and proactively supporting team members. Additionally, you'll manage customer expectations, report repairs, and support efforts to reduce waste.
Skills
- Experience in waste and property clearance
- Good interpersonal communication
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Understanding of health and safety practices
- Numeracy for stock management and invoicing
- Planning and prioritizing tasks
- Valid UK driving licence (category C1)
- Knowledge of road transport legislation
