Who You Are

We are looking for experienced cleaners for ongoing posts at four schools in Cardiff. You should have knowledge of handling cleaning chemicals and the use of a hoover.

What the job involves

You will be responsible for cleaning school areas such as classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, stairs, or other areas as assigned by supervisors or chargehand. You will provide a high-quality, value-for-money, customer-focused on-site cleaning service while working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective service delivery, share knowledge, and keep working within service practices.

Your specific duties will include:

• Ensuring that all cleaning undertaken is to the required standard.
• Working at all times within Health and Safety requirements and being aware of the necessary fire and evacuation procedures.
• Working safely and responsibly when using chemicals and following COSHH Regulations.
• Ensuring that all cleaning equipment and materials are safely stored at the end of the cleaning shift.
• Undertaking training as necessary.
• Acting in a courteous and professional manner to all those you have contact with.
• Communicating problems or concerns through the Chargehand or Site Supervisor.
