Who You Are
The successful candidate must possess the qualification of a RSPH Pest Control Technician to a minimum standard of Level 2 and must have a valid UK driving license. Knowledge of the geography of the London Borough of Southwark is advantageous. We have a preference for an “As Soon As Possible” start date.
What the job involves
Southwark Council is seeking Pest Control Technicians responsible for delivering pest control services through inspections, investigations, and treatments. You will identify infestations and choose appropriate management techniques based on formal training and legislative standards. Responsibilities include carrying out treatments, surveying properties, performing proofing work, managing stray dogs, executing pigeon proofing measures, handling pesticides under COSHH regulations, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, you will train apprentices and assist in improving the service through participation in project teams and working groups.
