Who You Are
You are a Principal Social Worker experienced in safeguarding and early help, capable of leading a small team and managing high-risk strategy meetings. You are adept at developing staff and supporting the team manager in various tasks.
What the job involves
This position is based in a fast-paced, office environment within the Family Advise Support and Protection Hub. Responsibilities include conducting timely risk assessments of contacts and referrals, identifying risks early, and leading strategy discussions with multi-agency partners. You will oversee a small sub-team, support team management tasks such as "Ragging" referrals, allocations, and authorizing social worker assessments, and contribute to service development and task force groups.
