Who You Are
An experienced social worker with a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Care England. You have significant experience working with children, young people, and their families, understanding their cultural identity and heritage. Your professional development is ongoing, in line with the PCF, and you have substantial experience in statutory work, including assessment, planning, safeguarding, and court work.
What the job involves
Ensure compliance with legal, organisational, and multi-agency requirements, carrying a caseload and working independently to meet the social care needs of children and families. Your role includes providing services to ensure safety and positive outcomes, conducting assessments, and offering support. You will work with internal and external partners, contributing to multi-agency teams, handling safeguarding concerns, and maintaining records for legal purposes. You are expected to develop expertise in children’s social care practice and provide oversight and direction to team members.
