What the job involves
We’re recruiting for a Team Manager in our Family Support Team (FST) – someone who can support our team to develop and grow, and who will help to ensure children in Wrexham are kept safe. The FST is a social work team that supports children and families who are open to Children’s Social Care. Responsibilities include managing Care and Support Plans, Child Protection Plans, and taking cases to the first court hearing. The role also involves supporting the development of Wrexham Trauma Informed Practice rollout and implementing Effective Child Protection models. You will be responsible for a staff team of 15 Social Workers, 4 Social Care Assessors, and 3 Assistant Team Managers.
