Who You Are
You are a dedicated safeguarding practitioner focused on delivering consistently good outcomes for individuals supported under an Adult Safeguarding framework. You thrive in responsive and proactive roles and embody an understanding of Adult Safeguarding protocols and legislation.
What the Job Involves
Your role involves receiving and responding to incoming Adult Safeguarding concerns, applying thresholds, and conducting risk assessments and Initial Assessments. You will act as an Enquiry Officer to coordinate and undertake complex Sec 42 Enquiries and support Quality Assurance visits with providers. Participation in organizational abuse enquiries and acting as the Adult Social Care representative in multiagency panels are also part of your responsibilities. You will deliver Level 1 Adult Safeguarding training, participate or lead specific project work related to safeguarding, provide advice and guidance, and undertake other assessments under relevant acts when required. There may be a need to work with customers who require a different engagement approach to transition them into appropriate support services.
