Who You Are

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Tree Officer, whose primary role will be to undertake surveys and inspections of Council trees and accurately record all data collected on the asset management system (Confirm Arboriculture) using a tablet. You will take personal responsibility for decisions made, ensuring integrity, openness and fairness, and be able to clearly explain your reasons for decisions made.

What the job involves

You should have a good working knowledge of basic tree biology; pests; diseases and disorders that affect trees and general ecological issues. In addition to knowledge of tree work operations and the effects on tree health related to species.

Skills

• Good working knowledge of basic tree biology
• Understanding of pests, diseases, and disorders affecting trees
• Knowledge of ecological issues
• Experience in tree work operations
• Three years' experience in the Arboricultural Industry
• Recognised Arboricultural qualification
