What the job involves
Responding to and resolving service requests related to noise and nuisance. Preparing and enforcing legal notices under relevant environmental legislation. Conducting follow-up checks and enforcing actions where necessary. Participating in emergency situations and collaborative efforts with other teams. Gathering evidence for legal actions and maintaining detailed case records. Providing advice and contributing to environmental health initiatives. Working out of hours as part of a service rotation and meeting targets.
Skills
Strong knowledge of Environmental Protection Act and Control of Pollution Act Excellent investigative and enforcement skills Ability to collaborate with various teams and agencies Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and reports Effective communication and public advisory skills Adaptability to flexible working hours and emergency response
