Who You Are
You are a motivated and responsible individual with proven experience in large scale cleaning, either industrial or domestic. You have worked with the public in diverse environments and are capable of working independently as well as part of a team. You understand the importance of health and safety standards and are sensitive to the diverse needs of homelessness households.
What the Job Involves
The role involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in hostels and communal areas within the Council’s Temporary Accommodation Hostel portfolio. This includes cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and toilets, and ensuring health and safety standards are upheld. You will assist in the practical day-to-day running of hostels, work closely with team members, and contribute to service development. Your responsibilities also include being responsive to the needs of residents, assisting with room cleaning and turnover, and being a champion for excellent customer service.

- Able to lift and move furniture with appropriate training
- Basic knowledge of health and safety in cleaning
