Role

Who You Are	You are an experienced social worker with at least 3 years of post-qualifying experience in a permanent, frontline safeguarding role. You have expertise in completing section 47 investigations and a commitment to supporting children subject to child protection and Child in Need Plans.
What the job involves	This role involves completing assessments for children and their families when safeguarding concerns are raised. You will manage cases from referral to closure or through necessary proceedings, providing continuity as the single social worker. Your duties include compiling assessments and reports for court in both private and public law proceedings. You will be based in Grantham and cover the South Kesteven District EAST, participating in a three-week duty rotation with specific expectations for office presence and case handling during duty weeks.
