Who You Are

A dedicated and experienced cook with a warm personality and a good sense of humor. You have a basic food hygiene qualification and a willingness to undergo further training. You are fluent in spoken English and have a good understanding of health and safety regulations. You are committed to high standards and have empathy for the Welsh language and culture.

What the Job Involves

The role requires running a busy kitchen to provide high-quality, nutritious meals to residents, some of whom have special dietary needs. You will ensure food safety and supervise kitchen staff, including an assistant cook. Responsibilities include planning, ordering, and maintaining standards of meal provision and cleanliness. You will attend meetings and training as required and contribute to the wellbeing and safety of residents.
