What the Job Involves
The role involves conducting housing needs assessments and creating tailored housing plans for individuals. You'll manage a high-profile caseload, provide a front-line service to customers seeking housing advice, deliver mediation services, and assess temporary accommodation needs. You will work with private sectors to prevent accommodation loss, support tenants affected by welfare reforms, and engage with landlords to prevent homelessness. Additionally, you will maintain excellent knowledge of housing options and laws, and contribute to service development and customer service excellence.
