You have a customer-focused approach, excelling in establishing effective relationships with building professionals and promoting regulatory compliance.
What the Job Involves
The role involves examining and inspecting Building Regulation submissions to ensure compliance with various building regulations and acts, such as the London Building Acts (Amendment) Act 1939 and Building Safety Act 2022. You will assess dangerous structures, supervise junior inspectors, handle daily site inspections, and advise clients on building control requirements. The job requires collaborating with different sections such as Development Management and Environmental Health, and contributing to the Authority's Building Control Service and quality initiatives.
