Who You Are
You are a Qualified Social Worker with a commitment to upholding the rights and dignity of individuals with mental health needs. You have a strong understanding of relevant legislation such as the Mental Health Act 1983 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
What the Job Involves
This position is based in Westminster with the CNWL NHS Foundation Trust. You will conduct assessments, make decisions under the Mental Health Act 1983, and collaborate with individuals and teams to formulate care plans. The role involves advocating for the rights of individuals, providing crisis intervention, maintaining accurate records, and participating in multidisciplinary meetings. You will be part of a team working under legal frameworks to support people with mental health needs.
Skills
- Experience with statutory work
- Understanding of the Care Act and safeguarding

- MCA, BIA experience
