Who You Are
Looking for candidates with Housing Surveying qualifications or equivalent experience. Experience with void properties, damp and mould, and structural issues is ideal.
What the job involves
Accountable for the health, safety, and condition of council-owned dwellings by identifying and analyzing defects. Manage cost-effective works to meet time, quality, and budget standards. Conduct surveys and inspections of council-owned property to diagnose repair defects and order effective remedial works. Prepare strategies, reports, and feasibility studies on specific related subjects. Conduct surveys and work specifications for void properties and oversee contractors onsite throughout the works. Perform desktop diagnosis of customer repair enquiries, offering effective remedial solutions to reduce the number of site inspections completed by colleagues.
