Who You Are
An experienced electrical engineer with a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification, holding a testing qualification such as 2391. Experience with AICO smoke alarms and social housing installations is highly preferable. You report to the Contract Manager of the EICR team and align with the Council’s dedication to Managing Diversity.
What the job involves
The role involves joining the EICR team to oversee contractor works and certification, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations for engineering installations, water hygiene, and asbestos. You will work on capital projects worth up to £5 million and manage budgets, with regular internal and external engagements.
