What the job involves
You will work within an Assessment & Intervention team to undertake S17 Child and Family Assessments and S47 enquiries, contributing to the full functions of the A&I Service. This includes duty allocation, visiting children and families, timely and proportionate assessments, and integrating systemically-informed social work practices. Your responsibilities will include working directly with children, young people, and families, managing complex information, and maintaining comprehensive case records. You will lead investigations concerning significant harm, carry out in-depth assessments of social need and risk, and collaborate with other professionals to optimize child welfare and family support.
