Who You Are

We are looking for caring and reliable individuals who enjoy working with children and young people. Experience with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is a significant advantage. It's also an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience working with children and young people in the educational sector.

What the Job Involves

As a Passenger Assistant, you will support children and young people, many with additional needs, during their journey to and from school or college, ensuring their safety and comfort. You will work closely with drivers and schools to ensure each journey is smooth and stress-free, and cover for other Passenger Assistants when needed. Cover is required Monday to Friday, usually from 07:00–10:00 and 14:00–17:00, during term time only. The role involves flexibility, as hours can vary based on routes and student schedules, and cover can range from half a day to longer periods.
