Social Worker - Level 2 - Children (G9)

Who You Are

We are seeking a confident and experienced practitioner who can manage a varied caseload across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care. You should be skilled at building positive relationships with children, families, and professionals, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your experience in statutory children's social care will help you advocate for children's needs and support meaningful change.

What the job involves

The role involves completing high-quality Child and Family Assessments and developing effective plans with families and partner agencies. You will be responsible for reviewing progress, demonstrating strong risk assessment skills, and supporting families to transition to universal services or escalate concerns as needed. The preparation of clear and analytical reports for court and statutory processes is also required.
