Who You Are

An experienced social worker with at least 5 years post-qualified experience, who has completed their ASYE and has 3 years in a permanent social worker role. You should have substantial experience working in an Assessment Team.

What the job involves

As a Senior Social Worker in the Assessment and Intervention Service based at Sumner House, you will be part of an Assessment Team that is on duty on rota every 5 weeks. Your main responsibilities include undertaking assessments of children and their families, conducting home visits to complete direct work with children, performing section 47 enquiries, and carrying out risk assessments and safety planning. The role requires attending the office at least 3 days a week.
