Who You Are
An experienced EHCP Co-ordinator with a detailed understanding of the Children & Families Act 2014, possessing excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Must be able to manage workloads efficiently and support less experienced staff.
What the job involves
Act as the main contact for EHC assessments, ensuring parental and child involvement. Coordinate with families and various service providers to draft and review Education, Health, and Care Plans. Support the local council at tribunals and develop SEN policy. Maintain records and use IT systems appropriately, plan workload, and make informed decisions supported by SEN Managers.
Skills
- Knowledge of part 3 Children & Families Act 2014
- Understanding of SENDIST Tribunal procedure
- Good oral and written communication
