What the job involves
The role involves delivering a customer-focused professional employee relations service. You will oversee and undertake employee relations casework, including attendance management and dispute resolution. You are responsible for policy development and project support and will manage and improve HR policies and procedures to foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will also represent the organization at Employment Tribunals when required and work closely with trade unions to resolve employee relation matters. Additionally, you will manage, supervise, and develop a team, ensure effective communication, support performance management, and engage with various stakeholders to promote HR services.
