You are part of Rutland County Council's Adult Safeguarding and DoLS Team, committed to promoting the safety and well-being of adults at risk. With experience in handling complex adult safeguarding enquiries and social care assessments, you adhere to the principles of the Care Act and Making Safeguarding Personal.
What the job involves
The role requires responding to complex and high-risk adult safeguarding enquiries, ensuring the safety and well-being of adults at risk. You will work within the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland safeguarding adults' practices and multi-agency risk management. Responsibilities include conducting social care assessments, developing and monitoring support or protection plans, and working with individuals lacking capacity to make decisions.
Skills
- Post qualifying experience of Section 42 enquiries
- Knowledge of the Care Act and Making Safeguarding Personal
- Ability to work with complex cases
