An interim childcare lawyer solicitor equipped with a practising certificate. You have a deep understanding of children’s law, including care proceedings and family law matters. You are capable of providing expert legal advice and representation.
What the job involves
This role involves providing expert advice and representation in care proceedings and family law matters. You will manage legal queries from the Children and Young People Services Directorate, conduct research to address complex legal issues, and collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with professional standards. You will work primarily in a hybrid manner, spending Mondays in County Hall in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, with the remainder of the week worked remotely. The role primarily covers the Harrogate area, though fully remote work may be considered.
