Who You Are
You are a qualified early years professional with a minimum Level 3 qualification in early years or education. You have extensive knowledge of child development and are familiar with legislation and guidance related to early years and childcare. You possess experience in management within an Ofsted registered setting and have successfully collaborated with professionals from various agencies to improve outcomes for children and families.
What the Job Involves
In this role, you will manage a caseload of Southwark Ofsted registered early years PVI settings, providing advice, support, and training. You will work to ensure these settings meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements and improve their ratings. Responsibilities include facilitating networks for practitioners, developing partnerships across services, and supporting inclusive practices. You will also offer guidance for those setting up or expanding early years provisions, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards.
