Who You Are
We are looking for enthusiastic Social Workers who like to make a difference. The role is with the Children’s Disability Service, a countywide frontline service providing care, protection, and support to the most vulnerable children and young people in Nottinghamshire.
What the job involves
Social Workers will work with children and young people with varying degrees of needs under child in need, child protection, and looked after processes, as well as care proceedings and support for children who have involvement under the mental health act. This role will enhance your skills in communication, knowledge, and identifying how to protect the vulnerable. You'll collaborate closely with disability support services and health to deliver support packages. The service benefits from its own assessment team and two longer-term teams covering the North and South of the county.
