Who You Are
A qualified social worker experienced in working with statutory duties, including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children Looked After. You possess legislative knowledge and experience, particularly in Court work.
What the Job Involves
You will be part of the SEND Family Help Service, working within a social work team alongside two other teams that support children with disabilities and their families. Your work will involve providing support to children with significant needs, engaging in family networks, short breaks, direct work, preparation for adulthood, and statutory social work services. A key focus will be on restorative and trauma-informed practices within a robust multi-agency environment. The role is part of a new initiative to develop a multi-agency SEND Family Hub and Help Service.
