Who You Are

You are a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives with a minimum of four years post-qualification experience. You have substantial experience in providing legal advice and managing a diverse and heavy caseload.

What the Job Involves

Your role is to provide legal advice and expertise to the London Borough of Bexley Council. You will carry a caseload, advise on complex legal issues, draft legal documents, and support planning appeals and judicial reviews. You will ensure legal costs are within budget, advise on committee reports, and deputize for the Senior Planning Lawyer as needed. Additionally, you will play an active role in organizational control and development to ensure efficient service delivery.
