Who You Are
As a Safeguarding Officer, you will be pivotal in protecting adults at risk in a dynamic environment. You will work under the guidance of Safeguarding Principal Practitioners, ensuring compliance with the Care Act 2014 and local safeguarding procedures.
What the job involves
Your role will include leading and coordinating safeguarding enquiries, assessing risk, and determining if legal duties have been met. You'll collaborate with partner agencies to address concerns of abuse or neglect, using a strengths-based, person-centred approach to prioritize individual choice and control.
- Complete triage of safeguarding concerns and determine appropriate actions
- Assess and manage risk with effective safeguarding plans
- Promote Making Safeguarding Personal and individual-led outcomes
- Collaborate with partner agencies for effective safeguarding
- Maintain accurate, high-quality records
The position is initially remote, with an expectation of office attendance for onboarding, and potential for contract extension.
