Who You Are

You are a commercially aware and strategically minded HR professional with significant experience operating at Business Partner level within a large, complex organisation. You have a track record of influencing senior leaders, delivering organisational change, and developing practical HR solutions that support operational and strategic goals. You combine strong relationship management skills with sound HR expertise, enabling you to challenge constructively, build credibility quickly, and drive positive outcomes.

What the job involves

As a Human Resources Business Partner at Westminster City Council, you will provide strategic HR leadership and support to senior managers across the organisation. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering workforce strategies aligned with business objectives, providing expert HR advice on organisational redesign and workforce planning, leading complex employee relations matters, supporting talent management initiatives, and building strong partnerships with Trade Unions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping workforce strategy, organizational change, and talent development, contributing directly to Westminster’s strategic priorities and public service reform agenda.

  • Experience as a Human Resources Business Partner in a large organisation
