Who You Are
You are someone who can provide housing advice and assist individuals experiencing housing issues, making informed decisions on homelessness applications.
What the job involves
Your role involves making enquiries and reaching decisions on homelessness applications under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996. You will manage a caseload of applicants in Temporary Accommodation, ensuring the completion of their homelessness journey. Working as part of a team, you will offer effective housing advice to the local community, with a strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on homelessness.
