Who You Are
The ideal candidate for the Administrative Support Assistant position should have demonstrable experience in working within children's social care or a similar environment, alongside considerable experience in administration. Proficiency in MS Office software, particularly in spreadsheets and databases, is essential, as is experience with office systems, correspondence, and report production. A qualification to NVQ Level 2 in a relevant subject is required.
What the Job Involves
This role involves undertaking a range of administrative activities to support the Children’s Social Care service, including project work, data collation and presentation, document drafting and preparation, meeting organization, and liaising with partner organizations. Responsibilities include supporting service access for users, facilitating effective partnership engagement, and striving to meet statutory obligations to provide timely services to children, young people, and their families.
