You are an experienced professional in supporting families displaying challenging behavior, capable of bringing about positive change. You should have experience in multi-agency work to support families with varying needs. You possess transferable skills to work across a range of specialisms such as parental domestic violence, mental health issues, substance misuse, children at risk of school exclusion, and other family difficulties.
What the job involves
The Family Help Keyworker will deliver an intensive, targeted, high-quality whole-family service for Bexley families. Responsibilities include supporting families to make decisions and develop SMART family support plans, providing practical support and advice, and delivering input and training to colleagues and other professionals. You will manage a caseload of families with multiple and complex needs, delivering one-to-one and group interventions, providing specialist advice, acting as a broker for resources, and ensuring improved outcomes for children and families.
