Who You Are
You are a dedicated professional with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualifying experience in a permanent, front-line safeguarding role. You have a strong background in completing assessments of children and their families where safeguarding concerns have been identified.
What the job involves
You will be responsible for completing assessments and supporting children under child protection and Child in Need Plans. Your role will entail compiling assessments and reports for court proceedings in both private and public law cases. You will manage cases from referral to closure, including those that require Council Intervention and Care Proceedings with continuity in social worker assignment.
You will operate from Grantham, covering the South Kesteven District EAST. The role involves a rotational duty system every three weeks, with office-based requirements during duty weeks for initial case handling and visits.
