What the Job Involves
This position involves assisting the Chief and Deputy Chief Accountant with annual accounts production and leading various accounting areas, including Collection Fund, Revenue Accounting, and VAT. Responsibilities include designing processes for accounting staff, maintaining chart of accounts integrity, providing technical advice, overseeing statutory returns, and managing complex VAT issues. The role also includes responding to audit queries, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and preparing accounting guidance and documentation.
