You have significant experience with SEND statutory processes and EHC Plans, along with a strong knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice. You are adept at managing complex SEND casework and are skilled in supporting, advising, and motivating colleagues. You possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, and have the ability to analyze information, make sound decisions, and meet deadlines.
What the job involves
This role involves providing senior support within the SEND Assessment and Review Team to ensure statutory processes are delivered effectively and within legal timescales. You will oversee complex case tracking and support Assessment and Reviewing Officers. Responsibilities include promoting accountability within the team by monitoring performance, undertaking quality assurance of EHC Plans, and collaborating with families and professionals to secure positive outcomes for children and young people. Additionally, you'll manage a small caseload of complex cases and support managers with performance monitoring and service improvement.
