Who You Are
You are a dedicated professional who is committed to facilitating contact between children and families. You have at least one year of experience working with children or young people, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and have a thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues. You have a GCSE pass in English and Math and either hold or are working towards a QCF Level 3 qualification in Social Care or Child Care.
What the Job Involves
This role involves arranging, supervising, and recording contact sessions between children and their families. Responsibilities include organizing transport, communicating with families and professionals, supervising contacts, recording notes, and identifying safeguarding concerns. You will work from various venues, must have a valid driver's license and vehicle, and need to be flexible with your hours, which could include weekends. Professional development and training are provided to help maintain high standards of service.
