Who You Are
A dedicated social worker with a professional qualification in social work, registered with the Health & Care Professions Council. You possess a thorough understanding of the Care Act 2014, social work theories, and issues concerning individuals with care and support needs and their carers. You have substantial experience in holding complex cases and successfully undertaking assessments, safeguarding enquiries, and mental capacity evaluations.
What the Job Involves
This role aims to promote positive change through social work, aiding individuals to become as independent as possible and managing risks of abuse and neglect. You will handle a caseload of adults requiring care and support, conduct assessments, and develop and review care plans. The job includes completing safeguarding enquiries and creating safeguarding plans, applying the Mental Capacity Act when necessary. You will work cross-functionally with colleagues and external partners, contribute to service development, and maintain professional currency in social work.
