Who You Are As a Crisis & Resilience Officer, you are dedicated to assessing and administering funding applications to support residents facing financial hardship or challenges affecting their wellbeing. You ensure that all decisions are fair, transparent, and compliant with policies. Your role is crucial in improving household and community resilience by enabling access to timely and appropriate support that promotes stability and positive long-term outcomes.
What the Job Involves You will manage a personal caseload, assess funding applications related to hardship and resilience, and ensure decision-making is evidence-based and policy-compliant. You will communicate empathetically with residents, especially those who are vulnerable or distressed, and respond to enquiries via various channels. Maintaining accurate records, producing Excel reports, liaising with internal and external partners, and contributing to service improvement are integral parts of your responsibilities.
