You have excellent communication skills and the ability to provide guidance and support to both leaseholders and housing staff. You are proactive in resolving inquiries and disputes regarding service charges and major works.
What the job involves
Your role involves calculating, notifying, and billing estimated and actual service charges, including major works, shared ownership rent, and ground rent. You will ensure compliance with the terms of the lease and associated legislation. You will conduct consultations under section 20 of the Landlord and Tenants Act 1985 and work to maximize recovery of homeowner rents and service charges to maintain the viability of the Housing Revenue Account.
