Who You Are
A Senior Social Worker with experience in working within multi-disciplinary settings, providing high-quality social work services for adults and their families. You are capable of handling complex cases and are familiar with safeguarding procedures. You possess a degree in Social Work or equivalent and are registered with the Care Council for Wales. You have completed or are near completing the CPEL Consolidation Programme.
What the Job Involves
The role involves delivering social work services to adults and their families, focusing on achieving positive outcomes, resilience, and independence, while ensuring safety. You will build partnerships with colleagues from various sectors, provide direct social work services per relevant policies, respond to safeguarding concerns, and complete risk assessments. Other responsibilities include preparing reports, maintaining professional accountability, and supporting the development of the service. You will also chair meetings and maintain good recording practices.
