Who You Are
An enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Practitioner able to cover a one-year maternity leave in the West Locality Occupational Therapy Team. You are HCPC-registered and experienced in home-based assessments for adults.
What the job involves
This role involves working in a long-term complex team focusing on major adaptations through the Disabled Facilities Grant pathway. It includes assessing and providing complex equipment and manual handling tools, aimed at supporting service users to remain safe and independent at home. You will be required to complete occupational therapy assessments in the home environment and recommend equipment and minor and major adaptations for adults living in the community.
