Who You Are
An experienced qualified social worker registered with Social Work England, with expertise in working with children and families within a Local Authority team. Passionate about relationship-based social work and committed to making a positive difference to children, their carers, and families.
What the job involves
Work within the Children Looked After team in Sedgemoor, Somerset. Manage a caseload of children and young people, supporting them through care planning and fulfilling statutory duties. Undertake direct work with children, work with parents and family networks, and use family-led meetings and Family Group Conferencing. Access to a Reunification team for intensive support and well-supported with supervision.
