What the Job Involves As an Allocations & Lettings Officer, you will allocate accommodation according to legal frameworks and local policies. You will manage processes for permanent housing placements, temporary accommodations, and private rented sector solutions to prevent homelessness. The role involves significant coordination with external agencies and internal teams to ensure accurate placements and efficient service delivery to clients facing housing challenges. You will also handle the processing of refusals, manage client interactions, and ensure compliance with housing-related legislation.
