CSW - Social Worker - Assessment and Safeguarding

Please Add JD The sw will hold a mixed caseload of cases :child in need , child protection, pre-proceedings , Looked After cases, Care proceedings, private law applications ,children at risk of Contextual safeguarding. the sw is expected to cover duty in the team at least once a week. the sw is to prepare reports for conferences, Looked After reviews, private law application and care proceedings . it is important that the social worker has a good command of written and spoken English . The social worker is to complete child and family assessments and is to demonstrate analytical skills. the social worker should be able to undertake direct work with children and to be able to build and maintain positive relationships whilst supporting the vulnerable children and their families. the sw should be able to chair core group meetings, child in need meetings and Family Group decision meetings. it is important for the sw to be able to work positively with other key agencies like the school, health, police, children's Guardians.
